The workshop was attended by Mr. Dinh Quang Nhut â Vice President in charge of HSEQ & ESG, leaders of member units, representatives from the Human Resources & Training Department, HR-Admin Departments of member units, production bases, along with HSEQ and ESG personnel across the Corporation.
Another key milestone was reached on June 12, 2026, when PV Drillingâs Drilling Division Branch was granted the Quality Management System certification conforming to API Spec Q2, 2nd Edition by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for "Management and operation of offshore drilling rigs". Achieving the API Spec Q2 certification affirms PV Drillingâs capacity to manage and operate rigs in compliance with international standards, enhancing service reputation and competitive advantage in domestic and international drilling markets.
Delegates discussing at the WorkshopIn H1 2026, PV Drilling recorded over 3 million working hours, a 28% increase year-on-year, with the rig fleet segment increasing by 31%. This growth mainly stemmed from fleet expansion, including PV DRILLING VIII (operational since early September 2025) and PV DRILLING IX (operational since early April 2026).
PV Drilling implemented several initiatives to modernize the HSEQ Management System. Management procedures were updated, and data digitization was accelerated to support better monitoring, analysis, and decision-making. Training, experience sharing, and risk management practices were intensified to elevate professional competence, risk awareness, and safety culture across the Corporation.
Delegates actively shared lessons learned in incident prevention, hazard control, and solutions to boost safety and operational efficiency. Beside HSEQ, the workshop discussed further integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into PV Drillingâs sustainable development strategy. ESG programs are aligned with corporate governance, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and workforce development to meet growing customer and international sustainability standards.
