PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) has just made its mark by being honored for the first time in the Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies in 2026 (VIX50) announced by Vietnam Report, while concurrently achieving the Top 50 Sustainable Businesses (Top 50 CSA) in the category of “Human Resource Strategy for Sustainable Development” presented by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine.
These two titles are the recognition for the persistent efforts of PV Drilling in enhancing governance capacity, optimizing operational efficiency, developing high-quality human resources, elevating media prestige and brand value on the stock market, step-by-step integrating ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) factors into the sustainable development strategy.

During the 2023 – 2025 period, PV Drilling constantly increased investment in human resource development, with the total number of training hours expanding from 43,716 hours to 70,424 hours, the number of training hours reaching 37.36 hours/employee and training costs increasing to VND 29.39 billion in 2025. In particular, contents on sustainable development and ESG were integrated into the training program with 440 hours in 2025, contributing to raising awareness and implementation capacity of sustainable development goals throughout PV Drilling. Training efficiency continued to be enhanced as the completion rate of training courses by the drilling rig workforce increased from 86% to 90.82%.

Being screened based on four key financial criteria including revenue, profit, total assets, and market capitalization, VIX50 enterprises must also meet strict requirements regarding financial health, media reputation, and trustworthiness from stakeholders.
Currently, PV Drilling owns a fleet of 8 modern offshore drilling rigs, of which 7 rigs are operating in the Southeast Asian market and one new-generation jack-up rig is expected to be named PV DRILLING X.
