On April 10, 2026, PVD Offshore was honored to welcome a high-level delegation of Japanese partners and clients to our office. The delegation included Mr. Takita – President of NMC; Mr. Fujinuki – Executive Director and President of the Japan Technical Association for Drilling (JTAD); and Mr. Tsuyoshi Abe – Representative of Japan Well Services Co., Ltd.
This marks the first official visit to Vietnam by the leadership of NMC, one of PVD Offshore’s valued clients in Japan, reflecting their deep trust and commitment to fostering a long-term partnership with us. During the meeting, both parties engaged in strategic discussions, providing updates on current collaborations and evaluating future growth opportunities for 2026 and beyond.
A key highlight of the visit was the mutual agreement to further enhance cooperation by leveraging the technical expertise and extensive experience of both sides. NMC highly commended PVD Offshore’s operational excellence and service quality, expressing a strong desire to expand collaboration into other specialized service areas where PVD Offshore holds a competitive edge.
Furthermore, in his capacity as President of JTAD, Mr. Fujinuki discussed the prospect of PVD Offshore joining the Japan Technical Association for Drilling. PVD Offshore is expected to be introduced at the JTAD Annual General Meeting on May 14, 2026, in Tokyo—a prestigious event gathering approximately 65 leading industry enterprises. This presents a golden opportunity for PVD Offshore to showcase its services to JTAD members, expand our network, and elevate our brand presence in the Japanese market.
The visit by NMC’s leadership is a significant milestone in PVD Offshore’s international expansion strategy. Beyond promoting technical exchange and resource development, it opens doors to new collaborative ventures in Japan—a high-potential market for energy and technical services.
